The Conflict of Interest: Opening products with fixed case pull rates creates a direct financial incentive to search cases to find hits. We choose not to open these products at all — so whether you buy one box or an entire case, the integrity of your hit rates is never in question.

The Reality: Case searching is real and far more common than the community often realizes. Retailers who sell both singles and sealed have a direct financial incentive to search cases first — the math simply works in their favor. The "buy by the case" mentality that has become normalized in this community exists precisely because trust in individual boxes has eroded over time. It's an uncomfortable truth, but one worth understanding.

Our Advocacy: We have been advocates for consumer safety since day 1. Everyone deserves a fair shot at chase cards without ever questioning the integrity of their purchase. We encourage the community to join us in urging manufacturers like Bushiroad to implement a better rarity distribution system that prioritize fairness while reducing product exploitation. Together, our collective voice can make a difference.

Lastly, it is simply not sustainable for a retailer to sell singles, playsets, and sealed products while also not compromising at least some of the sealed inventory they offer.

That's not an opinion — it's the math.

We sell products, not "leftovers."

In the TCG space, a lower price can often come with a hidden cost. Many high-volume retailers subsidize their low sealed prices by searching cases—opening boxes until the guaranteed high-value case hits (like SSPs or SECs) are found, then offloading the remaining boxes to unsuspecting customers alongside selling singles/playsets (if not directly on their storefront, then on marketplaces/locally with some going as far as selling these under a completely different alias).

Because we do not sell singles or playsets, we have zero incentive to open your products. When you shop with us, every box sold comes from a fresh, unsearched case—guaranteed. You aren't just buying a box; you’re buying the peace of mind that your pull rates haven't been compromised.

We believe that protecting your experience is worth a slightly higher price. Your support is what allows us to stay reliable and continue putting our community of players and collectors first.
